Inserting Contacts into Plugs

STEP 1:

 

Grasp the crimped contact roughly one inch behind the contact barrel. Then hold the connector with rear grommet facing you.

STEP 2:

 

Push the contact straight into the connector grommet until a click is felt. A slight tug will confirm that it’s properly locked into place.

STEP 3:

 

Once all contacts are in place, insert the orange wedgelock. The orange wedgelock will snap into place.


Removing Contacts from Plugs

STEP 1:

 

Remove the orange wedgelock using a flathead screwdriver to pry it straight out.

STEP 2:

 

To remove the contacts, gently pull wire backwards, while at the same time releasing the locking finger by moving away from the contact with a screwdriver

STEP 3:

 

Hold the rear seal in place, as removing the contact will displace the seal.

Remove the green wedgelock using a needle nose pliers to pull the wedgelock straight out.

STEP 2:

 

To remove the contacts, gently pull wire backwards, while at the same time releasing the locking finger by moving away from the contact with a screwdriver

STEP 3:

 

Hold the rear seal in place, as removing the contact will displace the seal.
